Late Night Bus Service Coming to the Bay Area

There’s just 18 days until the November 4 election, but no campaign is going to stop me from continuing to get things done for BART riders and Bay Area commuters. I’m pleased to announce that a proposal I’ve worked hard on for the past year was passed last week by the BART and AC Transit Boards to expand late night transbay bus service as early as this December!

This victory represents the culmination of my efforts to foster a strong collaborative relationship between BART and AC Transit. These extra buses will provide more frequent and expanded service to those who rely on transit when BART isn't in service. This pilot program is part of a larger effort to seek ways to offer the public more options during the overnight hours.

I want to continue my work on the BART Board of putting riders first and expanding affordable, reliable public transportation options for Bay Area residents. To do that, I need your help!

Please consider contributing $1000, $750, $500, $250, $100, or whatever you can afford today!

What BART doesn’t need is another politician on the Board looking to serve a narrow constituency of financial backers. Now more than ever we need transportation experts that can navigate the complexities of a growing BART ridership, increasing traffic and air pollution, and the need to keep public transitaffordable, reliable, and efficient.

Our work is cut out for us. But what I have going for my campaign is a record of accomplishments while serving at BART, and a vision for moving it forward.

When voters know my record, and the breadth of my transportation expertise, we win. Please help me get our message out to voters before the November 4 election by contributing today.

Thanks for your support,

Robert Raburn
